Herbie Hancock Live!

This is a 45-minute performance of Herbie Hancock and the Rockit Band, Hammersmith Odeon, London, Jan 30, 1984.
Listen as Grandmixer D.St hypes the audience before going into the his ubiquitous 'Rockit'.

MP3 ripped and edited by Bobby D, oh yes.

  4. I was there front & center, also featured in his video from Camden Palace for Rockit. Wish I could find the video to show my son. We got invited to the concert front row seats for dancing on the video.

Herbie is still the greatest along with Quincy Jones. Kids today don't know how good it was & I am a modern day hip hop hater. The lyrics & most of the music in HH today is just so insulting to our intelligence. Lowest common denominator such as cussing, sexually explicit words etc are the norm. 100% pure garbage...

  5. Agree with you, Mat. You've got to search hard to find decent hip hop these days.

Hey, this is REPO! While I love to see your comments, if you leave one under ANON why not put your real or chosen name at the end of the message?

Peace.
