Think ummmm, early 90's...?
I'm not giving the game away until you've all had a chance to think about it.
Answers in the Comments please, folks.
EDIT:
Yes indeed, that IS one half of early 90's House-Partying, kick-stepping, Full Force-bothering twosome, Kid 'n' Play.
Christopher 'Kid' Play, in fact.
I was watching an Icecube-produced documentary, Straight Outta LA, which is about the relationship between the American football team LA Raiders and 'Cube's old crew, NWA.
Halfway through the programme 'Kid' pops up as one of these talking heads and I get a shock as I could see it was him by his eyes but there was NO HI-TOP FADE!
And he's certainly aged since I last saw him bouncing around someone's sitting room in muted pastels.
I was just dying to see what was under his 'Compton' cap nowadays. Didn't he start sporting dreads during the end of their career anyway?

He carved Compton into his hi-top fade? That's the boy Chris "Kid" Reid.
I'd say it's KID from Kid N Play.
What's with the 'Compton' cap???
Oh my, is that Kid (or Play, I never was sure which was which)?
If so then that's shocking. If not then no, I've no idea who it is.
Yes. You are all right. Pick up those jaws, it IS Kid.
Check the main post for the edit.
Yo, KID is a stand up comedian these days after hanging up the mic.
No hight top fade Ben, just a normal low cut all over (he`s receding).
He must be mid 40s, right?
Have you not seen War Of The Worlds 2 on the Syfy channel?
Kid saving the world!!!!
Well - he ain't "Kid" no more...

I wasn't even aware that there was a WOTW sequel. And featuring the legend of the 80's that is C. Thomas Howell, too.
Disappointed with Kid's hair. Age ain't nothing to do with it, he should keep on keeping on, even if he has to go wiggy. Just as I expect Jedward to be sporting their hi-tops when they're 40+.
