Thanks to everyone who listened in last night. It was a really great to play such classic drum machine cuts from Mike's era.

A great selection and encouraging to hear that you could've carried on for another 8 or 9 hours. A lot of those tracks I heard for the first time on Mike's show. I've got a memory of Mike playing "Domination" by MCs of Rap and he said it's the best transformer scratching he'd ever heard.
Hard to find the right words to describe how I feel about it all, it's times like this we're reminded what "heavy hearted" means.
My introduction to hip hop was a few days after Christmas 1985, a night I'll never forget! Messing around with the radio dial of my new Matsui and landing on his show and being blown away by the music.
