Hip Hop Connection Magazine - Issues 7 & 8
Issue #7, August 1989 (LL Cool J front cover)
This issue came with a free flexidisc. However let's not get too excited. The song, Change Your Ways, was taken from the just-released Walking With A Panther album. And even then it was only available on the cassette and CD versions rather than the record.
In summary, it's his not best work from his not best album.
The magazine is here.
The song is here.
Issue #8, September 1989 (EPMD front cover)
More hip-hop goodness including the adorable fresh-faced mugshots in the Connections section.
The magazine is here.
N.b. Sorry for the huge gaps in between each uploading of these HHC mags but the response from the blog readership to keep putting them up here digitally is just so ear-shatteringly deafening.
Whoops, I meant of course, non-existent.

Man, memories.
I've got a pretty good idea who 'Annoyed from Nottingham' is in the letter section on page 38 of issue 7, and no it wasn't me, haha. The letters and lonely hearts sections are pure jokes, I wonder how many of them are still down for the cause, so to speak. Nostalgic to the max, keep up the good work.
Dope site...hope you post more magazines...i really feeling the ones you dropped so far...
Hopefully you upload more magazines...this is great...
