With it being exactly 20 years after hip hop's 'Golden Age', BBC 1 Extra have been looking at depth at a few classic albums.
Check the website and you'll find the likes of PE's "Nation Of Millions...", Eric B & Rakim's "Paid In Full" and this week it's Slick Rick's "The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick".
1988 - Jeebus, I was a little lad of 17 when I put "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" on my turntable for the first time. My whole bedroom was completely covered in posters from magazines, mostly PE, including a couple of massive bus shelter size ones, as well as some point-of-sale stuff like a big red and black PE logo.
Now all I have on the wall is a framed Wild Style poster and some graffiti chocolate wrappers in a picture frame. No Public Enemy whatsoever. It was that damn Edward Furlong in Terminator 2 that did them in for me.
Click here and relive your youth like the sad old bastards we are.

Problem I am having with that is that it is only for the UK won't play for you if you are from the U.S
That's odd. My brother-in-law lives in Chicago and regularly uses the BBC i-player for sports.
I've saved the last one (NWA, Straight Outta Compton) onto Rapidshare if that's any use to you.
